wahlee: (Itches!)
You know why? 'Cause I just spent the last 12 hours (give or take a few breaks here and there) walking around Disneyland. Yup! Lisa and Sarah and I have escaped to Anaheim, and boy are we happy about it. :D We're also completely exhausted. My feet hurt, my back hurts, the back of my heels are bleeding from wearing shoes I only bought last week (I know, I know, but they're trainers! That look vaguely Doctor-ish! And they match!), and I'm having a fabulous time.

Details, for those that want them )

I'll be lucky if I get out of bed next Tuesday. But I'll love it just the same. :)

I'm back. I had a fabulous time. I never want to get on an airplane again. I miss my niece and nephew.

It's going to take me a while to catch up. :P

We're heading off to upstate New York tomorow morning (we're leaving at 6:30 AM! *groan*), and I won't have internet access until I get home on Monday night. So. . . see you around. :)

Once again, if anything big happens fandom-wise, please text me. :)

To go to California! Yes, friends, I'll be spending the next 5 days at Laguna Beach, which delights me no end. :) The only thing that's sad is that there is no internet access whatsoever, so I can't even keep up. So don't go TOO crazy while I'm gone. If anything of import happens, though, plz to be texting me kthx.

I'll also try to make a voice post or two while I'm gone, so I won't completely be disappearing off the planet.

Not that most of you would notice the difference, the way I've been posting lately. :P

See you Monday night!

Guess where I'm posting from? A hotel room in Cedar City, of course! My intimidation/brainwashing campaign against my family worked, and we're taking a short trip to Cedar City to enjoy Shakefest 2006 before the summer season ends.

Today, we saw a matinee of HMS Pinafore (which was just as entertaining as last time) and an evening performance of Room Service. (Video montage, large and small).

Oh my heck, you guys. I laughed myself sick. And Brian Vaughn is now my official Theatre Boyfriend. He joins Orlando Bloom as my Movie Boyfriend and Henry Tilney as my Fiction Boyfriend. Anyway, this is the first time I've seen him in a non-Shakespeare role, and I was just as impressed as I have been previously. The guy can do comedy. Really do comedy. The plot for Room Service is rather thin, but Brian (as my Theatre Boyfriend, I get to call him by his first name ;) ) and the rest of the cast squeeze every little bit out of it they can. The physical comedy is just as fun as the verbal stuff, if not more so. And really, the whole play's worth it for the curtain call. Did you ever see an entire stage of mostly-middle-aged men do the time step? If you haven't, you're missing out.

My family is still chuckling about it. :)

Hamlet tomorrow night. Can't. Wait. I hope we figure out something to do tomorrow to keep me occupied, or I'm going to be jumping out of my skin.
