Jun. 8th, 2005 03:47 pmBack to Component. The 3-columns style did some weird things with that third column. I tried a few others, but didn't like any of them as much as Component. So here we are again. New colors, though. I did like the purple.
Finally getting around to the memes. . .
List your six current favorite songs:
Okay, revealing my strange musical tastes here, in no particular order:
1) Goodbye to Love, The Carpenters
2) Opus 17 (Don't Worry 'Bout Me), Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons
3) Everybody's Changing, Keane
4) Condition of Desperation, Randy Porter)
5) A Perfect Life, The Real Group
6) Into the West, Annie Lennox
The Film Meme:
1. How many DVDs/videos do you own?
Personally, only about 15. My family, though, probably more like 500 (including Beta tapes, VHS, and DVDs).
2. What was the last DVD/video you bought?
I got Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman Season One DVDs yesterday. *drools over Dean Cain*
3. What are five movies that mean a lot to you?
Oh, man. Only five? Let's see. . .
Pollyanna, staring Hayley Mills. We watched this movie a lot while I was growing up, and I still love it.
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Not only is it a great movie, it's responsible for lots of wonderful memories with friends and family. And, you know, Orlando. *sigh*
Persuasion, starring Ciaran Hinds and Amanda Root. I love many Austen movies, but I have to say that Persuasion is my favorite.
What's Up, Doc?, starring Ryan O'Neal and Barbra Streisand. I despise Barbra Streisand, but I adore this movie. My whole family (extended family, that is), can quote whole sections of it verbatim.
The Adventures of Robin Hood, starring Errol Flynn and Olivia de Haviland. They just don't make movies like this any more, and it's a crying shame.
I'm totally not tagging any of you, because I can't remember who has and who hasn't done these things. So, if you want to do them and haven't, consider yourself tagged. :)
