wahlee: (Rather be Merry than Wise)
I was growing dissatisfied with the way I did my Austen quote icons, and last night I decided to just redo the whole bunch. I also added a few more from Pride and Prejudice, which I've just finished rereading. I plan on rereading all her books and adding more icons as I find suitable quotes.

So, if anyone wants to gank these new prettified versions, feel free.

It's funny. I started with P&P, and was trying to decide which color would be good for that book. I eventually chose yellow, because it was "light and bright and sparkling." Then I did NA, and decided they needed to be pink, because Catherine is such a young girlish heroine. Then I did Persuasion, and decided on purple because it's such a serene color. And I realized that I'd inadvertently chosen rainbow colors corresponding to the order of publication!

So I decided to run with it. S&S became orange, MP green, and Emma blue. The letters I did in gray. I think they turned out quite nicely.
